This cocktail was created in 2014 by Erick Castro (@hungrybartender) at Polite Provisions in San Diego, CA. This one is built in that equal-parts style like the Last Word and Paper Plane, which makes mixing it up so easy. You get bright citrus up front, followed by a mix of gentle sweetness, warm spice, and a subtle chocolate note that all blend perfectly together. It’s one of those drinks where everything lands at the same time and nothing sticks out too far.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mltequila blanco
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlAncho Reyes Chile liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlwhite crème de cacao
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe.

Garnish with a lime wheel.
