About
This cocktail was created by Rafa García Febles (@sommuniste) in New York City in 2013. Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm) recently resurfaced the recipe and noted that it reminded him of a lime-and-pineapple variation on the Champs Élysées. He also mentions that while it can be served up, serving it over crushed ice was recommended for a drier experience, which is the direction I went here. Cognac and Green Chartreuse give it plenty of richness and herbal depth, while lime and pineapple pull it in a much more tropical direction. It is a really simple four-ingredient build, but there is a lot going on once all of those flavors come together.Cheers y’all!
