This cocktail was created in 2013 by the talented Jillian Vose @jillianvose at Death & Co (@deathandcompany). It might look delicate, but it definitely drinks bold. You get a floral lift from the elderflower right away, then the pisco opens up with some funk and warmth. The finish brings a nice layer of grapefruit and a touch of subtle spice from the falernum.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlpisco
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mldry vermouth
- ½ oz · 15 mlpamplemousse liqueur
- ½ oz · 15 mlelderflower liqueur
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlfalernum
Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass over large-format ice.

Express grapefruit peel oil over the surface.
- 5
Garnish with a grapefruit twist (original garnish was half a grapefruit wheel).
