I made this for those moments when you want something refreshing but still layered / cozy. It’s my riff on a Boozy Cream Soda that Jordan Hughes (@highproofpreacher) shared. Aged rum and Licor 43 bring warmth and vanilla, lime juice keeps it sharp, and a touch of cinnamon syrup ties it all together.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlaged rum
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlLicor 43
- 1 oz · 30 mlfresh lime juice
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlcinnamon syrup
- 3 oz · 90 mltonic water, to top
- nutmeg to garnish
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to shaker tin except tonic water.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Fine strain into a chilled glass over ice spear.
- 4
Top with tonic water.
- 5
Garnish with fresh nutmeg and orange twist.
