This cocktail was created in 2019 by Nicholas Bennett at Cedric’s at the Shed (NYC). It is his take on a mezcal Negroni where he adds a coffee element and some almond. Agave spirits work so well with coffee and the touch of amaretto rounds it all out.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlmezcal
- 1 oz · 30 mlCampari
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlcoffee liqueur
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlamaretto
- 2 dashesAngostura bitters
- orange peel oil
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.
- 3
Strain into a glass over a BFC.
- 4
Express orange peel oil over the surface.
- 5
Garnish with an orange twist.
