About
The original Surfer on Acid was created by Eric Tecosky in the 1990s and was typically served as either a shot or a drink with just three ingredients: Jägermeister, coconut rum, and pineapple juice. This version was reimagined by Robby Dow (@thevodkaartist) at Bespoke (@bespoke.nc) in Wilmington, North Carolina. The extra rum, fresh lime juice, saline, and nutmeg give it more depth and structure, while still keeping that familiar combination of pineapple, coconut, and Jäger at its core. The seven touches definitely are worth it for this banger. When I shared this on Instagram, Robby noted that he reached out to Eric to get the full history on the drink and good graces before releasing this version.Cheers y’all!
