This festive twist on the classic Rob Roy cocktail is by Miguel Buencamino (@holycityhandcraft). I’ve been looking for reasons to use my recently acquired bottle of spiced pear liqueur, and this did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be sipping on this again during the holidays.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlIslay scotch
- ½ oz · 15 mlsweet vermouth
- ½ oz · 15 mlspiced pear liqueur
- 4 dashesblack walnut bitters
- orange peel oil
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Express orange peel oil over surface.
- 5
Garnish with an orange twist (Miguel garnished with pear fan…mine kept falling so I gave up 😅).
