A few months ago I asked for people to send me their original cocktails so I could reshake or stir them up and share. This one came from Thomas Knight (@thomasknighttunes) and I’m so glad I gave it a try. He described it as a hybrid of a Tuxedo No. 2 and a White Negroni, which is right up my alley. I know I share a lot of rum and tiki drinks, but something spirit-forward with gin was my first love and it still is. This cocktail is elegant, balanced, and a perfectly named.Cheers y'all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlgin
- 1 oz · 30 mlwhite vermouth (blanc or bianco)
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlBitter Bianco
- 1 tsp · 5 mlabsinthe
- 1 tsp · 5 mlmaraschino liqueur
Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
